StandstillSometimes sitting in a hospital corridor bench can really be an emotional roller coaster. As the trolleys pass and patients are wheeled in an out of the operation theatre, thoughts just bombard in and out of the mind like kamikaze pilots crashing to the ground. Despite wandering in the wards for almost 2 years now, the past week has brought the ward experience to a more surreal level. Something i don't think i'll be able to describe in written terms.
With all that's been going on within the past week, it feels as if time stood still. It's been pure torture. Sometimes feeling absolutely lost with no direction only pushes you to cry out to God asking him for direction as to what you should do. I do believe that it is during the darkest hour in the deepest trials that God speaks to us and leads us out of our problems hand in hand, pretty much like what Jesus showed Simon Peter in the gospel of Luke 5. It's probably this crazy fact that makes me a follower of Christ today.
It's a blessing to have really great friends who stick by you thru the ups and downs that you go thru. I've especially gotta thank people like YK, HL, Dawson, Chee Wing, Audrey, Jenny, Hanisyam, Val, Isaac and Rose. I guess without them, things wouldn't have been as bright as they are. Great people for sure.
Hopefully i'll find the answers to the many questions i have in the deep end. I don't know how long i'll hang on but may God grant me His strength and may He lead the way.
