Wunder-fool

Aights, it's Saturday and another week has just flown by just like that. A week has 7 days and coming to think of it, that's a pretty short time. In just a blink of an eye, things just change and at times you are just caught unaware of the things that are revolving. Reflecting on the week, it's been more like a rollercoaster ride. Loadsa highs and lows. At times, you just wonder if life is meant to be like that.

Speaking to patients everyday gives me a new perspective into how much we should treasure our health and the things we have. Though patients come in with different presenting complaints and illnesses, underlying each of their clinical conditions is some problem which might or might not be related to their disease. Many patients speak of loss of loved ones, financial problems, family problems and other problems which really open my eyes to see that medicine is not just about treating the disease but treating the patient as a whole. As medical students and future docs, all we can do is to listen and encourage these patients as healing will ultimately come from God. Observing these things also make you wonder why God allows them to happen. At the end of it all, God has a reason for everything and in due time we just hope to understand why things and events take place. I speak for myself as well in hope that i'll know why things are the way they are.

Aside from medical jargons and terminology... The much anticipated showdown between two great football clubs took place: The Champions League Final between Barca and Aresenal. I have to admit that staying up for the match was well worth it cos Barca won. Hehe. No secret that was supporting Barca for this match. I've gotta give credit to Arsenal for the great game. Kinda pity them cos they got their first choice keeper sent off so early in the game. I think they shouldn't worry too much. They young Gunner's are gonna be a great team with Francesc Fabregas in there. I've gotta say that it wasn't Ronaldinho or Henry that caught my eye but it was Iniesta and Larsson that were the game changers. Those 2 fellers really gave Arsenal a beating. Either way, gotta give both teams credit for an entertaining game.

Viva la Barcelona!

Football was great but a movie like the Da Vinci code was kinda crap. It was an ok adaptation of he novel but a pure deceiving tool used to corrupt the minds of people about the Lord Jesus Christ. The movie was also quite draggy to the point that even half the cinema were snoring. I guess many people didn't even understand what was going on with all the jargons and terminology used in the show. Even Soon Liang and Hiong Chin slept. Wouldn't actually blame those 2 fellers as we watched the movie at midnight as we couldn't get any tickets for an earlier show. Either way, I bet even the Malay lads like Ilham were bored to wits as he was already snoring halfway into the show. The only plus point to the show was the nice buildings and the actress who wasn't too bad. :P

Alrighty... looking forward to another week of surprises and of course Convo. Cheers!!
