Outback OddballAights, it's midway thru rotations. It hasn't been all that bad, but at times it's been a real waste of time due to the way that things have been scheduled. Not complaining though. As of now, i'm on the eve of embarking on my journey to KKB. I'm not quite sure what i'll be up to on my trip there this time round. Hehe... Guess it's for me to find out.
As of the past few trips, it's been pretty routine. Waking up in snooze mode and dragging ourselves to the hospital to begin our rounds. After that we'll probably have lunch and drag ourselves back into the wards to clerk our patients. Then comes dinner at infamous Restaurant 99. It sounds so familiar.
The great milestones of the previous trips i've had so far :
1. Finding out that one of my housemates actually drinks 5 litres of water in a single day !!
2. Washing the toilet 6 times before using it.
3. Playing 21 while studying about parasites.
4. Having someone come to our house to borrow a car at 2 in the morning.
5. Getting scolded by a neighbour for being too noisy.
As for this trip, HOPEFULLY !!! some stuff that i've planned out will materialise:
- witness the actual process of childbirth to see if i really have to become a plumber first if i would want to be an O&G specialist
- see Rassam sing at pasar malam
- Watch all 6 episodes of Star Wars in a 14 inch TV
- Play futsal in the Nurse quarters
- Jog round KKB town with my Bata shoes
- Play snooker at the ah beng hideout on the outskrits of KKB town
- Study with the lads playing the PS2 in front of me
That's the list so far. Any more crazy suggestions? Hehe...
Okies, that's it till i return from the jungle. Adios ! God bless to all mankind !
