Straylight Runned

Blurness : A state i'm in 90% of the time. Yup, that explains it all. It's been 3 freagin long days since the Renal CA. I believe i've not just been wounded physically but rather mentally as well. Since young, i've sorta had some sense of respect for British lads especially since they always do things in a rather structured and organised manner. But after undergoing 3 weeks of a course coordinated by a rather oxymoronic and patriotic Scotsman, I've loss 60% of that sense of respect. Strangely, he's quite anti-American too. I wonder why. Bottomline is, i just hope to pass my Renal CA.

Renal shot me mentally but I had fun while getting battered in a 'wrestling' match @ THE CAGE. We lads participated in the IMU Champions league futsal tourney. It has to be the craziest futsal tournament i've played in since joining IMU. From the way we were playing, it wouldn't seem to be like any other normal futsal match, it was more like a wrestling match. U wouldn't believe the way some of the goals were being score. The final was pulsating enough to send a person into cardiogenic shock. 6-5 ?? Yeah, that was the final score. Goal after goal. Non stop action but at the expense of our team getting bruised, battered and beaten by a rather physical team which i think was not playing futsal but kickboxing. To sum it up, i think we played really good stuff without having to injure any of our opponents. That's what real men are made of. A team consisting of Faiz, Rassam, JH, Eugene, Ken Jay, Shamson, CalvinJit n me.. I don't think we could ask for more. It was great to have been a part of the team. Hopefully everyone recovers well.

The gals had their futsal tournament the day before the lads. Overall, i think they played more intensely than the lads. Jeremy n I helped out in plotting the downfall of the other teams with our unconventional tactics. Loadsa fun. We were lucky to have been blessed with a good team. The attack spearheaded by Sunila, Saleena and Elena fired in the goals while Jamie, Sien Hui, Shuj and Grace clamped down the attacking moves of the opponents. Ai Ling probably had a stroll on the park. I think we got the most organised team like Jeremy said earlier. Congrats to them on achieving second place though. An unexpected result but well deserved.

As for the week ahead, it's now in Rotation mode. I still think it's a waste of time but what can we do considering that it's mandatory cos LAN wants it to be done. Shall not complain too much and just get on with life. :P

A sight to savour : 6.35 p.m. @ Peacehaven - CF Camp 2005

Aights. Till the next post... back to blurness n dreams. Sayonara and God Bless to all.
