A week of hearts

Yup, 100-120bpm. That's the rate at which the human heart races without any external influence. Pretty amazing stuff. Another one of those wonderfully old-skool inventions by the big boss up there that is so simple yet complex. The heart is not just another essential part of us, it portrays many different things. Without the heart, we aint gonna be alive, in some ways physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. So basically, it's pretty much involved in every darn thing which revolves around.

Aight, Sunday's the first day of the week. I always regard this day sacred and dedicated to my boss up there. It's the day i go to His house to give Him dued praise and to fellowship with my fellow siblings in Christ. Sometimes while serving Him, we people including myself tend to take things for granted. As many have said, we tend to dwell in our comfort zones for too long, thus pulling down our standards of serving Him and the people around us. And as always said, too be great, u have to be a servant of all. The question? Where is our heart when it comes to serving others rather than yourself? i pray that i'll have that sorta heart.. It all comes back to the heart :P

Wokies, Monday; February fourteen. Zoinks. It's that time of the year again.. MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger status are all set in "AWAY" mode. As for the cheesy lines people type after their nicknames.. some are just crazy, i got no choice but to laugh at them. lol. Some even have hearts as emoticons. Well, i suppose valentines does great wonders to some people who remain quiet all year round. Suddenly the birds and bees start coming out and flowery language blooms around every darn corner of the globe and everything turns pink and red. lol. I don't have anything against valentine's day. I think it's great to see people together celebrating their affection for each other. We humans are naturally attracted to the opposite sex. It's just the way God made us and it's a great way to celebrate it. But on the other side, i think this whole valentine's thing os a bit too commercialized. According to some of my frens who were "victims of the valentine traders", prices of chocs and roses were at a freagin high. Like buying Petronas shares on the KLSE dude. lol. Well,i think if u love someone, i don't think valentine's is the only day u go out and buy stuff for the other half to show your affection, you'll probably do it more often than that or at least that's what i think. Sorry if i'm wrong. I'm no Dr. Love dude. :P. lol. Well, i still think the greatest love of all is God's love for us. He gave His only son that we may live eternally. Great stuff. I mean who in this freagin world would give up the life of His only son so that others may live to see another day. I don't think i could do that. It's gotta be God. That's gotta be the greatest love of all. Totally awesome.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday "AND FRIDAY". Started and carried out my elective at IJN, Institute Jantung Negara somewhere in the heart of KL. The place was pretty neat with loadsa gadgets and super kau tim docs around. I did the elective with a few others namely Ken Lin, Audrey, CK, Sheena and Sharon. Speaking from the experience Ken Lin, Audrey and me got. I think we would rather think of IJN as "IN JAIL NOW". We were practically bored to wits after the second day cos the docs didn't give a crap if we were there or not. The first day was not too bad. We had a great doc to show us around and tell us a thing or two about procedures and stuff related to IJN. As we were attached to the paediatrics, we saw loadsa small lads and lasses. Really sad to see these small ones having to face these kinda problems at such a young age. Makes me feel thankful that i was born with a perfectly functioning heart. Managed to learn a thing or two and some really cool jargon. Some patients and their parents were really accomodative. Gotta salute them for being in high spirits despite all the adversities that surround them. An experience engraved in my mind. Else than the first day.. really sad that we couldn't do much. I really hope those young lads and lasses get their problems sorted out. They've got so much more in life ahead. Hopefully everything goes well them lads and lasses. Now my problem would be to figure a way how to talk as much crap as possible to write up the report. :P

As for the "real Friday", the highlight event was the cg's "outdoor cinema". It wasn't too bad. I think it almost looked like the real thing with our homemade screen and projector. The turn out and food was great. Credit to Val, Sherine and Kin San for organizing it. And thanx to the Boss up there for not turning on the tap a.k.a rain. The weather was superb. I guess everyone enjoyed it. Great to have new people in the cg as well and old frens comin back to cg.

Aights, saturday was next. Din do much except landing myself in a traffic jam somewhere near Serdang only to allo my butt to warm the car seat for approximately 2 freagin long hours. sheesh. I really feel like smacking that bald head of Samy Vellu for making such a mess of the transportation around that area. As for the rest of the day... i think i just stared at the wall and the wall stared back at me. Uh. Totally unproductive. The positive outcome for the day. ManYoo beat Everton and Wayne Rooney got the last laugh. haha. The lad's heart is definitely with ManYoo now, so Everton suppoters.. forget the once a blue, always a blue fantasy.

Wunderkids : Rooney and Ronaldo

Alrites. A new week to look forward to. Wish all my friends who are taking their re-sit paper all the best. U lads can do it. Will see u guys in sem 4. God bless u fellers. Adios !
