Killswitch Engaged

Wah lau eh.. it's already the 7th of Feb 2005. Man does time fly, if i can recall, i just finished my exam around this time about a month ago. Things have been good and i think i've done loadsa crazy stuff during this hols besides lazing around. In 2 days time, then Chinese new year will be ushered in. This time it's the year of the Rooster. Actually, i dun really know the significance of all this animal zodiac year crap. If those chinese calenders weren't sold in stationary shops, i would have probably thought the year of the wombat, elephant or baboon existed. Anyways, gotta find out about it soon, afterall, i'm 'supposedly' said to be proud of my heritage. hehe..

As of now, kinda tired but feeling great. Had a pretty hectic day. Started off with a trip to the bank to sort out my finances. Had to close a dormant account at some crappy bank. If i had a choice, this bank would definitely be the last on my list. It's the suckiest bank i've ever dealt with. The problem was, my cash was stuck there cos my previous employer issues our pay into it. So no choicela, have to do banking with them. Haih. the problem with this rather stupid bank is, it's located in an area where parking is scarce, the service is poor and it just SUCKS. Ok.. forget the parking and stuff.. the joke of the day was this, after waiting for two freagin long hours in the queue to ask if i can close my account, i tell officer in charge... "Excuse me, i would like to close my account" , her reply, "oh, u want to close your account ah? cannot close wor cos u din open your account in this branch, must go back to the PJ head branch". I was kinda scratching my head...i mean, why in the world would they not let me close my account, afterall.. it's the same f@#king bank company and it's my own account. Strange..strange..

Aside from the banking fiasco, helped out with the CNY cookies again. I definitely have to admit, it's actually loadsa fun helping out but the work load is kinda huge. Thankfully it's only once a year. The satisfaction of seeing the variety of cookies and end product nicely packed into a nice bottle. Gotta give credit to my mum. I dunno how in this world can she manage to remember all the recipes n just bake all the cookies without much hassle. My mum totally rocks !! If it was me, probably end up mixing up the ingredients and ending up with some mud pie made out of chocolate...hehe. Kinda happy that all the cookies are done and there's just one last batch to pack. Yay !!

As of yesterday, had a great time with the lads. Was great to have Yudhis 'Avril' Naidu back with us... yeah, the only guy who used to listen to Rammstein but decided that Avril Lavigne is more grunge. :P. The 'loh sang' was kinda crazy. I think we over 'loh the sang' until it became like a plate of expensive rojak splattered all over the table..haha. Albeit the fun, the service at the restaurant was rather slow and cacat. Kinda potong stim actually but good also cos some classic jokes came out of those hungry lads. Yeah, and Din has an interesting job in an even more 'interestingly' named company. Still wondering how they came out with the name. hmm... After dinner it was 'tung po', yeah snooker. Kinda surprisingly, me and alex fared pretty ok, afterall, it's been freagin long .. i think 2 years since we last played.. Thanx to Fua and Dinesh for giving face...hehe.:P

Well, lookin forward to return to my hometown. The place where all the bling bling lies inside those small little red packets. Gonna have to sit down with my fellow cousins n bro to device a plan to get the most outta those lai lai's with cash...muahaha. Yeah, and our revenge on our grandad's neighbour..hehe. This year, his neighbour is gonna get a really nice 'PRESENT' from us.. hehehe. As for the gambling den n drinking parlour.. i think it's gonna be the usual stuff.. not that i can avoid it...hehe. Not my fault.:P
