Yeah, great news for some lad (scratchin' my head now) - Got this off soccernet.com. Rassam 'punyeto' Badbess, GOOD NEWS. Kenya's FIFA ban provisionally lifted ZURICH, Aug 6 (Reuters) - The Kenyan Football Federation (KFF) had its international suspension provisionally lifted after a meeting of FIFA's Emergency Committee on Friday. The suspension from all international competitions was imposed on June 2 because of government interference following the disbandment of KFF's executive committee in March. 'After listening to a report from the FIFA administration, the Emergency Committee provisionally lifted the suspension imposed on the Kenya Football Federation as the Normalisation Committee led by Kipchoge Keino, the President of the Kenyan National Olympic Committee, had met all of the necessary conditions,' FIFA said in a statement. 'The Committee held two lengthy round-table discussions with representatives from Kenyan soccer and the Kenyan government and concluded that the KFF will resume its activities.' FIFA president Sepp Blatter met with Kenya's new sports minister Ochilo Ayacko in Zurich on July 20 to seek ways to restructure the KFF, which had been accused for years of mismanagement and corruption. KFF officials had been involved in a year long stand-off with former sports minister Najib Balala, who accused them of corruption and several officials were charged last month with theft from the domestic governing body. Kenya's soccer team reassembled this week in the hope of playing two friendlies in neighbouring Uganda at the weekend and those games will now go ahead. The national side will play their first African zone World Cup Group Five qualifier against Malawi in Nairobi in early September and three postponed matches against Guinea, Morocco and Tunisia will be re-arranged. Strange news.. I wonder if Rassam was involved in the scandal, maybe that's why he ran away to Malaysia.. hmm.. Aights. Anyways. Just completed the first week of 2nd year medic skool. Yeah, some people's reactions..Uh..? Ah..? What..? U in second year already? Serious crap?U manage to survive eh?not bad..(all spoken in ah beng slang). Some questions from me lads asked after finally locating me after i 'hibernated' and 'disappeared' for a year.. yeah, pretty amazing how some crazy goblok like me managed to make it this far. All credit to God lads.. Yeah, owe it all to me Boss up there. Thanx Boss. Hope i pass sem 3 now. Well, guess the week was really hectic. Everything seems to be on hyperdrive. Things flash by and sometimes pass u by like it never happened. Started the week being a 'jinjang joe'.The journey there was one crazy jam, thanx to Samy Vellu who closed the MRR2.. Feel like whacking his botak head man.. super jamlah macha. Well, as for Jinjang, i tell u, the place is one confusing 'pekan'. Strange place. Yeah, some road signs are even in english. But the people aren't like 'cultured British', they're more like authentic 'ah pek'. I shall defer from using the 'ah beng' description as they don't qualify based on 'collin's ah beng criteria' : What's the criteria: 1. Must be Chineselah of course.. if not how to be ah beng?? If indian, sorrylah.. u is a mangama. 2. Drive modified like 'crap' car, preferably Proton Satria or Honda Civic. 3. Have 'boom, boom, boom subwoofer speakers' in the back of the car. 4. Play the 'ah beng' techno at full blast with car windows opened. 5. Have that VCD pouch bag around the shoulder. 6. Wear singlet or lousy t-shirt, shorts and japanese slipper. 7. Dye the hair 'brown' or 'peroxide blonde' colour for the authentic look. 8. Like to hang out in Kepong, SS2, Chow Kit, Jln Alor or Petaling Street. 9. Carry big handphone like the 'dinosaur' model. A person with 3 out of the 8 criteria is confirm ah beng. This rating is something like Jones criteria.. certified by 'MCA - Macha and Chinaman Association'. Back to Jinjang, the weirdest thing i saw was a motorcycle modifications store named 'You Fat Motor'.. sounds more like an insult than a shop title. Anyways, managed to find the clinic only after askin some slacker policeman for directions. The doc at the clinic rawks big time. Overall, good experience, bad place. As for the week at uni. CVS results.. sighs. CSU was ok except for a slight bit of 'verbal conditioning' i got from Dr.X. who expects u to know everything in Talley's. Siao eh. U crazy ah? read Talley's in 2 days. Anyways.. was kinda weird staring into a structure looking like a large fish tank with people inside almost every day. Yeah.. what fish tank? VMU. The lads look like they're some bunch of jailbirds being locked up in a glass container doing work with headphones stuck on their heads. As for today, it was back to the round table at Alison Restaurant @ SP for our weekly round up on politics by the lads. The lads present : Ken Jay, Eugene, Calvin. As usual, it was lotsa crap talk again, but very productive. Hot topic of the day : BRUCE LEE SOON LIANG. Why?.. the feller's birthday is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY boss ! .. Well we kinda wondered where in the world did he disappear to today. He was no where in sight. Else than the fact that he had a meet with his ex-classmates.. he was invisible. Maybe the F3 Club gals kidnapped him... hmm.. possible possible.. gotta find that out. Aights, enuff ravings for the day. Peace to all the macha's out there. Sayonara ! Comments : Post a Comment |
