Délirer Dans la victoire douce

Holla.. this is my first blog entry in quite a while.. been really busy with stuff.. well.. i guess time does fly.. in a blink of an eye were already midway thru CVS.. it's just the tip of the iceberg but it's a stepping stone to greater things to come.. ahah.. sounding to philosophical now.. "grin".. anyways.. the lads finally faced the sem 4s for a footie match in Friday after all the hyped up talk about the match.. Considering we lads haven't played on a proper footie pitch for quite a long time.. i think we were quite fortunate to have lasted the full 90 minutes..ahah.. pancit man.. unlike the sem 4s who had actually trained prior to this, we fellers hardly go to the family park to train.. Anyways.. this is the match report :

Starting Lineup for FC M203:
GK : Shamson
Defenders : Azri, Chee Wing, Faiz, Rizal
Midfielders : Ken Jay, Eugene, Choong Han, Kim
Forwards : Bruce Lee, Badbess

Subs:
Shiva, Aravind, Bal, Victor, Jan Hoong

Kickoff @ 1730 hrs :

Sem 4 fellers start the kickoff.. the match progressed quite evenly.. the sem 4s look pretty good this time round.. our play wasn't too bad considering the lack of practice.. Pass here, pass there.. a pass from Badbess to Bruce.. Bruce with a left footed volley... GOAL !!!!! .. this has now increased Bruce Lee's market value by another 25 %... (the gals were in hysteria - can't blame them, he's their coach).. Kickoff again to restart the match.. same scenario.. kick, pass, shoot... towards the end of the second half.. Badbess passes to defenders... shoots from about 25 yards out.. he beats the keeper... GOAL !!!!.. he's completed 1/3 of the job to get his reward..hehe.. that's about the highlights for the 1st half.. Defence was rock solid with FAiz and Chee Wing slamming the incoming shots back at the opponents.. great stuff.. Rating : 3/5 , Entertainment value : 3/5

Second Half :

Kickoff like normal.. play ensues.. some mishap at the back allowed sem 4's Justin to head the ball pass our sub keeper.. match is very much alive again.. 2-1 is the score.. posession was pretty even throughout the entire match... towards the last 10 minutes.. Badbess passes a ball to Ken Jay.. Ken Jay makes a good run at the side.. makes a beautiful cross which could have sealed the game if Bruce would have touched the ball into the net... unfortunately he missed.. nevertheless.. wonderful stuff from our number 7 and 13.. Final minute.. hehe.. my one and only contribution.. got pass a few fellers at the right.. saw a few lads coming in from the farpost.. cut the ball in and send a low cross into the box.. it only needed a tap from one of the lads to see another goal.. unfortunately again...ahah... we missed.. final score.. 2-1.. Victory to the lads.. Kudos to the sem 4s for their great play.. wasn't too bad i guess.. considering our flamboyant left back.. Calvinjit was on tour in Aussie to meet up with our old team mate.. Stevie 'G' Lau.. and our midfiled maestro .. Raul Ho Jan Hoong was our with an ankle injury... An overall good performance.. a big thanx to the FFF members who came to give their support..
